2005 has been an exciting and positive year for the Academy. Fully settled into our "new" historic home, SAFA has expanded its community programs; added a second full-time atelier program for professionally-oriented students; expanded the scope of adult class offerings and continued to serve youth through dynamic curricula focused on building creativity and visual literacy.

Scholarship funds are intended to benefit outstanding students between the ages of 17-27 who are citizens of the United States and who, without the assistance of the Foundation grant, might otherwise not be able to pursue a career in fine art, commercial art or classical music.
